Default My new S&W 4566TSW

I picked this up today from a fellow Calgunner. I've always wanted a 4566 and now I have one. This gun is absolutely pristine with less than 100rds fired. Now the hunt begins for a 4506 in similar condition.

J&G gun sales had the 4506 in very nice condition for police returns for a good price. I bought a 4566 from them and it's a great shooter.
Nice pistol

Nice gun! Unlike many people here, I accually like the metal frame Smiths. I am on the hunt for a 4006TSW myself. I have a CS40 in the 10 day jail period right now.

I just DROS'd a consignment 4506 "semi-transitional" (has the hooked handguard that later 4506 and 4506-1 models don't.

This gun has had light shooting use, though some nicks & dings from holstering/transport etc.

I'm gonna shoot it for a bit and then have it bead-blasted refinished, and have the front strap recheckered.

I'm really liking 3rd gen S&Ws - my 1006 is great, and I shot my 915 last night - *tight* gun, good shooter even with mag disco.

I am a big S&W auto fan, as my father owned a 59 back in the day and I bought a S&W 459 back in 1985 (which I still have). S&W autos are, in my opinion, very underrated and extremely reliable. My 459 has thousands of rounds through it (both reloads and factory) and has never had a FTE/FTF in it's life.

Take yours out and let us know how is shoots !

I bought one of those 2 years ago and wasn't too happy with it when I brought it home. I began to regreat my purchase.

I took it to the range once and now I don't wanna give it up. It's a great pistol. The trigger is sweet and very easy to shoot.

Enjoy and Congrats!
