Henry Frontier magazine tube change?
If one were to buy the Henry Frontier with 24" threaded barrel, would it be possible to swap the 10 round magazine tube for the longer 16 round tube on the standard Frontier?

Spyder, ask Henry, their customer service is outstanding.

Hmmm. They said it is not possible.
"There would be no way to accomplish that as the blued outer tube which is a permanent part of the rifle is itself shorter." That doesn't make sense. If the outer mag tube is dented or damaged the rifle is junk? |

"We/I don't know, so I'm answering with abstract confusion".
Spyder, never had one apart, but guessing the outer mag tube is secured to the gun like most other tube feed mags. The only problem I could see coming up, is if there is a notch in the tube for a cross pin/screw, and the longer tube having that in a different location. When email fails, call. |

Spyder, send the owner an email about it. I found Henry's customer service pretty worthless, they seemed like they didn't want to go outside the box. Once I ran my issue by the owner, my problem was solved, a new hat and coffee mug came in the mail also.
