Default Travelling thru Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming (Yellowstone)

Read up and didn't see any issues with me carrying concealed with my California CCW. Also have an Idaho CCW from when I lived there that is still valid datewise but am no longer a resident of that state. Anything I may have missed as far as carrying? Thanks.

My information, which comes from an App (Concealed Carry 50 State Guide) I trust shows that you would be good in ID and MT but not WY. Even though I thought WY was constitutional carry, my app says no.

I think Wyoming is Constitutional Carry only for Residents of WY.

It looks like WY honors Idaho's permits, but I suppose its unclear whether nor not the OPs ID permit is still valid or not.

Idaho and Montana both accept California's license.

That's what I come up with also.

Idaho requires you to advise policia' that you're packin' if stopped.

Thanks. I remember that from my time carrying up there.
I do, regardless, as a courtesy. No big deal to me and I'd rather have it up front than have a LEO spot it and draw his gun. I carry my wallet on the same side as my .45 so its better to have it out there.

Wonder what the reasoning for Wyoming's acceptance of an Idaho CCW, along with other States CCW's which requires no actual concealed carry firearm/law instruction (I got mine in Idaho by just showing an old hunting license), and not accepting California's where I was required to take 16 hours of instruction including live fire?

We really do need National Reciprocity across the States.

Wouldn't a Arizona LTC fix this?

Maybe b/c CA doesn't recognize WY?
