I will be spending Thanksgiving with family, and so am unable to attend this event.

I always look forward to these Shoot-N-Ques, you get to enjoy three fun things all in the same venue: Eat great food, mingle with excellent company and enjoy some target practice. If you haven't been to one before and are on the fence, I encourage you to come out and have some fun.

Send a few rounds downrange for me folks. I look forward to seeing you at the next event in the coming year.

Rain or shine - we will be there - p.s. - that big tree does a pretty good job of stopping the rain. . .

My 8 year old son wants to go really bad but their website says you have to be 12 to shoot handguns. He has a p22 and doesn't like to shoot anything else. I'll ask him when he wakes up if he still wants to go.

I was looking at the weather report, and it says a 40% chance of light showers in castro valley.

Looking at the radar, we are catching the very outward edge of the storm and it looks light.

If any other cigar smokers are going to be there, can one of you bring a cutter? I can't find mine.

Wow nice turn out you guys I met so many more people there today. Thanks Oaklander for organizing this meet, also to those of you that brought stuff out for the BBQ. I did not hang out up top that much today, I was too busy trying out all the cool toys everyone else brought out.

Ivanimal it was nice seeing you again, wish you the best with everything going on.

Beatone, aka Mike very cool meeting up with you. Thanks for letting me tryout your .50 Beowulf, also for allowing me to test out your Draco.

Ghost aka Vern and his brother Virgil sick line up of toys you guys brought out. Thanks for bringing out the Tapco Slanted Brake for me, also thanks for letting test out the PS90 and 9mm AR Pistol

Last but not least Soldier415 it was an honor meeting you, thanks for your service Glad you enjoyed trying out the Draco I'll make sure to not remove the blood from it

Also nice seeing the other usual ruckus makers out there today, til next time

-Gio

Had a good time. Nice to finally meet you Gio. Now I have a face to go with the name. Good to see Vern, Virgil, Kevin, Ivanimal, Bill and the other people who came out. Wet weather didn't dampen peoples spirt to eat and shoot.
Lots of cool stuff but I have to admit the AK pistols were the big hit. A lot of Flame today.

yeah.. i thought that might be atherd (Ben Cannon?)... I thought the Ferrari on his avatar was just cuz he's a fan. Maybe he does own one. I would've wanted to meet him as I met someone who works for him for Gunpal. If it wasn't raining and someone can drive up the rifles, I would've ridden the ducati and park it not far from his shiny (360 Modena?). Get the italian connection goingLOL If that was his that is. Damn, looks like he didn't even touch a drop of drizzle it was so shiny!

Wanted to meet Oaklander but didn't see. Good to see other familiar faces, and some from the track (or BARF that I've not seen in like 7 yrs). Met Bweise again, said quick hi to Ivan, met others (a couple from southern cal?), a grill meister and grill provider, and a few others, especially Ratters who was the second person who allowed me to hold and shoot a few on his RAW back in 06 Calguns post-turkey day. He contributed heavily on my EBR fever.

Fun event. Had to bail out a little early but my friend/guest had a good time. Maybe too good since he shot my own AR better than me. LOL

Bowser, I promise to bring the 18" Noveske next time.

Maybe Ozzie would post pics here? He had the slamming DSLR setup.

Yes - GREAT turnout!

It was awesome seeing everyone. . .

I had to leave early - new dog in house - I was concerned that she might be chewing up my house - and I was right!

She ate part of the couch, two bluetooth earpieces, a cell phone charger, a ball point pen, and a lint brush. She also tried eating a lock, but had no success with that.

My fault for leaving that stuff out where she could get it!!! So I wasn't mad. . .

it was good times as usual, despite the rain and the cold weather.it was good to see familiar faces as well as new one.i want to say a special thanks to mike for letting me shoot his .50 beowulf
the only thing that sucked was not having enough time to zero in my new toy,but it was good to see a few ak pistols today.hope to see you guys again at the next shoot n`que.

Great to see old friends and meet new ones.

I got to put my meat on Oaklander's grill, always a plus to any event.

Learned that even with your elbow and shoulder locked, your sweatshirt will slide back along the table allowing the AK pistol to make contact with your face.

Had a great time at my first thanksgiving shoot-n-q. I look forward to next years.

I ended up flaking. Used the weather as an excuse, but had been trying to get out going since I found out we were having house guests, which wife had forgotten to mention.

Own a Ferrari and live live with your parents, now that would be an interesting combo.

Thought he said he was going to be in the "EU" and unable to attend?.

Sorry that missed this one. I had post Thanksgiving day coma...Way to much turkey, lumpia, stuffed fish, green bean casserole, pineapple ham and Filipino deserts kinda upset my stomach and made me very sleepy..

Had the new M4 clone, SVT 40s and the Hakim already to go..

Next time.
