One correction please. My 25yd Iron score was 131. I corrected my post but I think it was missed. Congrats to Lazyme on his shooting improvement, the more competition the better. That's what these matches are all about. Thanks to USMCCHET for giving me a break and running this month's match.

Thanks!! When I walked up on that target I grew a grin from ear to ear. I knew I didn't need a Kimber or CZ...still wouldn't mind one of them though.

Hopefully my 10/22 charger pistol trigger gets back home soon and I can knock 10xhobby out of his top seat on the pistol matches.

Thanks again guys! Like I keep saying, this is my stress relief when work knocks me around too much. Keep up the good work!

Default Pistol Targets

15 yard Pistol Target, Iron Sights or Red Dot. No Magnified Optics.
Use the 25 rifle irons pdf
See Attachment
Take 3 shots at each bullseye. Center is 10, then 9, 8,7, 6, 5.
Score your target. Target may be shot off hand or from a bench rest. Off hand shooters will compete separately from bench rest shooters.

25 yard Pistol Target, Open Class. Use any optics you want.
Use 25 pistol pdf
See Attachment
Take five shots at each bullseye. Score your target. Target may be shot off hand or from a bench rest. Off hand shooters will compete separately from bench rest shooters.

For each target indicate your total score and if not already indicated on the target note the distance shot and what type of sights. Ex: Score =xxx, Iron Sights, Scope, Red Dot. No fair shooting iron sight targets with a scope for score. Since we are using the 25/50 yd rifle iron sight targets for the pistol matches PLEASE indicate on your target if it was shot with a rifle of pistola.

Rules:
This is an online match. Print off the targets, shoot where and when you want. Come back and post your targets for those in your face bragging rights!! I do encourage meeting up with other match shooters. Any rimfire firearm is eligible. Shooting from a benchrest, prone, sitting, standing, hood of your car, leaning against a tree is acceptable. Using a rest in which the Rifle/Pistol can be locked down is verboten.

Bonus Points

Here is how it will work. This is only on targets that have multiple shots on one target. We shoot the targets as normal and add up the scores like normal. The twist is we shoot for groups as well. For example, if we are shooting 5 shots on each target. If none of the 5 bullet holes are touching you get no bonus points. If two are touching you get 2 bonus points. If three are touching you get 3 bonus points on up to a maximum of 5 bonus points for each target.

Finally for any questions just drop me a PM and I'll get right back to you. Feel free to also PM me with feedback/complaints/errors I make, etc... These matches are based on “Gentlemen's/Ladie's Honor” so go shoot and have fun.

I can't believe here we are 1/3 of the way through the month and no one has posted any targets yet! Here's mine from this afternoon.

A side note and special thank you to 10xhobby who I had the pleasure of meeting here in Fresno this past weekend for letting me play with a few of his toys while he was here. I am very pleased to have made your acquaintance.

Now to the target. Not the best showing, but i hope to improve on this before month end.

I apologize for being an idiot, but the 50yd iron looks or at least prints smaller than the 25yd iron. shouldn't the 50yd scale up a bit?

I opened both on my computer, adjusted to 100% size, and positioned them so the bulls were next to each other. To me, it appears that the entire bull is the same size, but the black portion is larger on the 50 yd target. I don't know about you, but I can't see the white portion of the bull at 25 yds, let alone 50, so to me the perception is a larger bull. That having been said, to me, as long as everyone is using the same target at the same distance, it really doesn't matter to me how one target relates to another. It's all in fun and really competing against yourself anyway...but I digress. Best of luck to you!

I went out again today. I SHOULD have improved my score based on the first bull, but the 6 ring in the third bull killed my chance... Oh well. Still stoked about the first bull regardless.

The black portion of the bullseye on the 25yd target is 1 3/8", the black portion of the bullseye on the 50yd target is 2" when I printed them on 8.5 x 11 inch paper and selected "Auto Rotate and Center" on my printer.

Made it today for another go at 25 yd irons. I'm trying to get one more person to go in on a corporate membership at the firing line so I can afford a membership out at Fresno Rifle and Pistol too so I can work on the longer distances.

Slight improvement over last go round at 25 yds. 108

Hey all, first time doing the rimfire match thing, so let me know if I scored myself correctly. Don't know if I'm expecting too much of my gun but I was thinking it would be a little more accurate than this. It was a pretty windy day though, direct crosswind at 15 knots. Let me know what you think!

That is some really nice shooting! I really need to start feeding my 452 some nicer ammo to tighten though groups.

Thanks!

I'm not sure but I'm starting to think ammo at 25y is less important than good fundamentals than it is at 50y and more. It's an idea but I don't have enough experience to say for sure just yet...

Sorry bout that. It's a 10/22 with a Kidd barrel, preditor stock and muller mpv scope. Ammo was wolf match target.

Nice shooting! I'll be trying my hand at this one tomorrow. Hoping to get out early before the wind picks up. I'll post the results soon.
