I talked to a rep at the Gun Show this past weekend. They had a huge backlog after Sandy Hook. They said they're still working on January orders. Plus they also had issues with the forgings. This resulted in some Lowers having a shallow mill on the rollmark. These ended up in their blemished box, along with any other minor blemishes. I looked at some at the show, and some have very minor nicks, but everything else looked fine. They were selling them for $100. If legislation passes that might put a damper on the bullet button, they've got a load of these if anyone feels they're in a pinch.

For those of you that ordred 308 lowers in late january...

I ordered 5.56 (10) and .308 (5) I believe late February ...
I picked up my complete order ...mmm... last month??? So those of you that ordered your 308's earlier that myself should definitely have a better answer than you need to wait another month

I ordered Feb 12th and i finaly received mine on the 17th...but that was constantly calling them and asking when it would be done. 6months and 5 days of waiting and being told numerous times that it would be another two weeks.....I got the same from the guy saying another month this last time, waited until the next day and called again....thats when i talked to one of women that worked there and she filled my order and ran my BGC that day. Oh yeah.... what i ordered was a match set 308 upper and lower.

Jeebus. You guys are nuts. I went in to a local store when all this crap happened and put an order in and had the JD upper and lower in 4 weeks. Waiting 8 months is ridiculous.

So I cancelled my Mar 6th back order.

They answered the phone like on the 4th ring.

Told me that since its past X amount of days they can't credit back my CC but will cut me a check. Sound right?

Even if their software archives the debit transactions, I don't see why they can't do a blind credit. In fact, you should ask them if they're going to write you a check anyway, why not just give you a blind credit. All they would need is your credit card number, expiration date and name.

Updated News. The lower I ordered on the 4th of Feb is ready for pickup on the 30th of Sep. Almost 8 months.

I just saw some .223 JD forged at Team Big Shot off Miramar Rd and there were two of the .308 matched set in the display case. I just picked up my .308 matched set today with no wait other than the 10 day wait. If you can, cancel the order and buy them from Team Bigshot.

i called Sept.26, about my order placed Feb.21, they said they were completing orders from Feb.8 and told me 2 to 3 weeks. 2 to 3 weeks is what they told 2 months ago when they were on january orders.

How often are people experiencing. TERRIBLE FITS? As if the readily available lowers from every other company are really much different from the 9 month wait versions from Jd.

I got a call too. Ordered in March, told August, now October. But I'm aware they had some issues with bad forgings.
