Buying via PPT is ok, new or other transfer is not unless you're a police officer.

The Sig P320 series of pistols is not on the CA Approved Handgun Roster, meaning that gun stores in CA can't offer to sell it to you. However, buying one from a private party (another gun owner) who is a resident of California constitutes a Private Party Transfer (PPT). PPTs are exempt from the roster.

If you want one, look here on the Calguns Marketplace forums and find someone in your area who has one for sale. Agree on a purchase price, meet that person at a mutually agreed upon gun dealer and do a PPT. After your 10 day waiting period, go take your new P320 home.

That's how it's done. Welcome to Calguns!

I have the 320rx full size. It’s a fantastic pistol for a Tupperware gun. I really like it. Good luck in your search for one.

The grip module is Tupperware, but if your dog chews is up you can buy a new grip module.

That's how I ordered mine, but just remember firearms through UPS have to be shipped 2-day shipping. Luckily I had Amazon Prime membership and got free 2-day shipping right to my door.

Don’t forget Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale when they cover 2 day shipping.

According to former president obama, violent criminals can easily buy guns from online with no background check.
https://youtu.be/N_H5BhxIfdE

p.s. still waiting for the white knight to appear in this thread on how dare we're roasting and why he doesn't go on Calguns much anymore.

OP, I see at least three P320 on the first page of marketplace. Just remember off-roster typically commands a high price premium and you still got to go through for PPT the DROS, 10-day wait, and pass background check.
http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/f...play.php?f=332
If you're gavin, then no, as you can see there's no loopholes you already got everything covered, unless you dare piss off law enforcement and remove their off-roster exception that they can then sell off-roster handguns to any average Joe, I used it to my advantage to pickup a CZ Scorpion pistol.

"Tests performed on the Surface Web demonstrated that private sellers GAO contacted on gun forums and other classified ads were unwilling to sell a firearm to an individual who appeared to be prohibited from possessing a firearm. Of the 72 attempts agents made to purchase firearms on the Surface Web, 56 sellers refused to complete a transaction: 29 sellers stated they would not ship a firearm and 27 refused after the disclosure of the undercover identities' stated prohibited status. Furthermore, in 5 of these 72 attempts, the accounts GAO set up were frozen by the websites, which prevented the agents from using the forums and attempting to make a purchase."

I had a P320 tacops full size. It was a great gun for what it was just kind of lackluster compared to some of my other triggers. The modularity is nice however I don't shoot 40 and you can't convert a 9 / 40 to 45. Also 350 Sig is so expensive it's basically just an expensive 40.

So if you're going to get one get the 45 is what I'm saying. And I would push you towards the RX model. That being said I sold mine, trigger was kind of boring. However Apex just created their forward set Sear coupled with their trigger could actually be a really good Improvement for it. I'll try and shoot someone's RX and see how I feel about it.

But yeah to answer your question you have to buy the private party through someone who already owns it in the state of California. Just search the marketplace near you and be prepared to drive if you can't find anyone near you.

Like the video says, you're preaching to the choir here, we all know how strict the process goes but it's the non-gun people that hear obama and think "it's the president saying this so it's got to be true". They wouldn't know the statistics you listed and if we told them to the anti-gunners they'd still believe the former president and ignore us with facts....

The easiest way to get one is to move out of state, buy one, and then bring it to Kaliforniastan when you come to visit. Leave any Mag that holds more than 10 rounds at home.

Expect to spend in the area of 2X MSRP (manufacturers suggested retail price) for handguns not on the CA Approved Handgun roster.

Don't waste your money. The SIG P320 sucks, and you will pay double the MSRP for it in California.

If you get one... find one WITHOUT the "voluntary trigger upgrade" that fixes that accidental firing problem when dropped on the back of the slide at a 15 degree angle... or what ever it was. Personally I have NEVER dropped a loaded firearm and never intend too but I sent my P320 in anyway four weeks ago. I just got it back from SiG two days ago. The crispness of the original trigger is gone now...but it is moron and you YouTube idiot safe now....

Same here, liked the P320 trigger before but after the trigger upgrade it's gritty.

I would respectfully disagree about the trigger upgrade. Many people, including me, prefer the post upgrade trigger. Perhaps they are not all the same.

If you’re preference is 45, all good. I like the ballistics of the 357 Sig, and if you do some shopping it’s not that expensive. For practice I buy Speer Lawman from Target Sports...at least I did before the new laws took effect. With the 40 Cal barrel swap, which takes about 30 seconds, you have another caliber option that is similar but less expensive.

Once I go through my 5000 round stockpile, I’ll need to investigate having ammo shipped to a FFL dealer.

I also want to keep mine pre-upgraded,

but anyone tried this?
