Showroom expansion plans
It's in the early stages with the architect right now, but we are going to be expanding our showroom at our Fountain Valley location. We are going to expand the current showroom rearward giving us over twice the amount of room we currently have. This should allow for some benches to sit on, table for paperwork, more room to mill around, etc... Getting permits and dealing with the city will no doubt slow down the process, but we hope to have it done near the first of the year. Oh, and they are going to replace the "curb" on our front parking area with a regular sloped entryway, which should be well received by our customers that don't drive trucks!

That's nice ! but I will try to jump up and down that curb for fun several more times til the end of this year before they remove it, just because I still have 35x12.50 on my 5 doors wagon.

Just a suggestion if you're already doing work: move the fence on the side back a bit to free up more parking for customers on the side.

Nice!
Too many ppl standing at the counter. Everytime I go in there's ppl blocking the counter either waiting for their number to be called or doing dros work so it's hard to even browse while waiting. Maybe you guys can work on the chit chat, it sucks standing in line for 30 mins when all the ppl being helped on are just having full blown conversations not related to guns holding up the long line.

why bother with expansion plan with so much uncertainty... how about just using your side parking lot for accessories/ammo sales and showroom for firearms sales, like you done with parking lot sale events?

Great! A work center specifically for DROS would help alleviate congestion.
An online order willcall counter person would be good too. Divide the showroom into centers with specific purposes. You don't want the bigger space to feel like a indoors parking lot, give each wall purpose.
