Default GROUP BUY ENDED, THANKS TO ALL!

Hi there

I recently did a group buy on another forum for the Polymer 80 Glock 80% frame textured version and those people never paid, stupid of me not to take money up front. Anyways whatever i had from that i sold on the firearms parts forum here and they sold like hotcakes.

So here i am offering this group buy. The following are the pricing details.

MSRP is $149.99. PM ME FOR PRICE.

- Polymer 80 Glock 80% GLock 19/23/32 FRAME SMOOTH VERSION ( Model # PF940Cv1 ReadyMod ). This is the entire kit including the frame, jig, and bits.

MSRP is $149.99. PM ME FOR PRICE

THESE ARE THE NEW IMPROVED COATED VERSIONS.

It now features these improvements:

So if I get your "whole kit" all I'll need is a glock slide and some elbow grease?

You would need a lower/frame parts kit and magazine too

You would need the lower parts for a glock frame too. The kit comes with the 80% polymer frame along with the jig and bits needed to mill it.

The following is for California residents ONLY: In July, 2016, California passed AB 857 which requires all completed firearms to have a serial number applied by Jan 1, 2019. An 80% lower is not a firearm, so a serial number would only be required once the 80% lower is completed. Unfinished 80% lower receivers do not need a serial number.

If you engrave a serial number of your choosing into your completed 80% lower prior to Jul 1, 2018, you will not be affected by this law and you do not need to notify any government agency that you built a firearm. In other words, you can make up any serial number you want (as long as it meets ATF's definition of a serial number), engrave it on your receiver, and this will satisfy Californiaā€™s legal requirement. You do not need to apply to the state, or tell them what your serial number is. Your lower can still legally remain completely off the radar. The important thing is you MUST engrave your serial number before July 1, 2018 to take advantage of this benefit.

After July, 2018, the law changes for the worse. If you build an 80% lower after July 1, 2018, you must FIRST apply to the California DOJ for a serial number, pay a fee, and they will then assign a serial number that you must apply to your firearm. In this case, you canā€™t choose your own serial number and your serial number will be in the state governmentā€™s data base. If you want to avoid falling under this law, make sure you engrave your own serial number to your completed 80% lowers before July 2018.

If you build an 80% lower and use your own ā€œunregistered" serial number after July 2018, it would be a misdemeanor, although the state would have the burden of trying to prove in court that you did in fact build the lower after the July 2018 cut off date.

80% Arms offers an 80% lower receiver serialization service. We have an FFL license and can engrave a serial number on your completed 80% lower receiver that meets ATF requirements.

Has anyone figured out if we can do the engraving on our own with an electric pencil? Or would it need to be done with a CNC or something of that nature.

You are probably referring to the serialization of 80%s. The new law requires you to engrave a serial number on a piece of metal embedded onto polymer lowers.

PC 29180

(2) (A) Within 10 days of manufacturing or assembling a firearm in accordance with paragraph (1), the unique serial number or other mark of identification provided by the department shall be engraved or permanently affixed to the firearm in a manner that meets or exceeds the requirements imposed on licensed importers and licensed manufacturers of firearms pursuant to subsection (i) of Section 923 of Title 18 of the United States Code and regulations issued pursuant thereto.

(B) If the firearm is manufactured or assembled from polymer plastic, 3.7 ounces of material type 17-4 PH stainless steel shall be embedded within the plastic upon fabrication or construction with the unique serial number engraved or otherwise permanently affixed in a manner that meets or exceeds the requirements imposed on licensed importers and licensed manufacturers of firearms pursuant to subsection (i) of Section 923 of Title 18 of the United States Code and regulations issued pursuant thereto.

and this is why these polymer frames have a similar metal piece just like a glock frame does under the rail where the serail number is. Its already there for you to engrave your own serial number.

the PF940 had structural integrity issues due to the rear rail being made of only polymer and wearing low after 5-7k rounds. Thats why im not even offering it for sale in this group buy

Seriously considering getting in on the group buy, especially since everyone else has this at $150 before shipping/tax.

But before jumping on the bandwagon, I wanna price out a build. Where's the best deal on a lower parts completion kit?

I found an OEM kit for a G17 from Midway for $50, just wish they listed the part numbers for each part. I think all except the Slide Lock Spring is cross compatible between large frame and small frame. Can anyone confirm/deny?

I also found an OEM/LWD kit from Lone Wolf for $80, but they're currently OOS.

Any other/better options out there?

SORRY FOLKS, THE DATES HAVE BEEN CHANGED AGAIN AS I WAS ADVISED TO KEEP IT SIMPLE AND DO ONE GROUP BUY INSTEAD OF TWO. IT WILL RUN MARCH 1ST -MARCH 31ST, THE ENTIRE MONTH OF MARCH.

Would I be able to buy a 9mm and a .40 barrel and use them both with the one lower? if not I would probably have to get two.
