Default Carbine Buffers

Wow, am I going to expose myself.. as a newbie!

I see you have Carbine Buffers:
LMT Standard 2.8oz
LMT Heavy 3.9oz
CMT H2 4.6oz

So, from you or anyone else here:
1) Do these buffers really reduce felt recoil;
2) Do they affect performance;
3) What are the differences between these 3 items?

Thanks for supporting CalGuns!

Shorter the barrel (under 16"), the heavier buffer the better.

The H buffer is designed for the Carbine gas system to "feel" like the midlength. The H2 is designed for the 10.5" upper with an eroded gas port.
