Here's my 1955 SA. I did not think to take any pictures before I dissembled it. Here it is stripped and cleaned ready to be greased and reassembled. The original operating rod spring was very gunked up so I bought a new one from Orion 7.

Here we are all together

Reporting for duty.

Chillin with the homie. (bottom is a 43 SA)

What wood/finish are your stocks... they have almost a Hickory look to'em.

Very nice indeed.

Default Scout Scoped Garand

My latest project. Built from a CMP woodless Winchester. For you purest out there, no permanent modification was done. Remains to be seen if the bipod will effect accuracy. Hopefully I can take it out and get it sighted in next week.

Ultimak M1 Garand mount.

Default My 1944 Springfield M1 Garand

I purchased it with a New Boyd Stock set, and NOS barrel S/A 2-55. I like it a lot, and it's in such great shape. I got more pics, but without posting them all, I am waiting to dig out my tri-pod & put better close ups on the post. Here are the ones I came up with so far.

My 3/45 Garand found under a couch at an estate sale (for the princely sum of $100) with three of it's closest friends....

Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have available. Mine is a Springfield from 1943. It was a "parts gun", but it fires just fine, and is accurate. Not bad for $350.00 15 years ago.

Thanks, she is a Navy Trophy Rifle won at West Coast matches last year. Springfield Armory born in 53ish and was updated with oprods and other improvements and has electropencil markings by marine armorers in 66 (O-66). Stayed in Crane Indiana ever since. Nice and uncirculated. Gave it to my father as a gift last year and waiting on my Mk II in 7.62 coming soon from this years matches.

I got my CMP Special last week. I finally got pictures on line (well, my daughter did). It looks great and shoots great. I couldn't be happier.
