Default QLS Fork 6004-19 Authenticity

I've purchased some from various sources. However recently I found that one wouldn't click/lock into the receiver plate. There's some small dimensional differences as well as markings [namely the PAT PEND]. Of the 2 forks, which one is authentic? Or are they both authentic and maybe there was just variance between batches?

My QLS fork matches your first pic. I only have 1 fork to reference.

****, I'm starting to think my fork/receiver plate is a knock off then. The 1st pic is my most recent purchase and it is the one that won't lock in.

Where did you get that receiver plate?

I'm 99% certain it was an ebay auction from a high rated seller.

Ok, then there's that possibility it is a knock off, or out of spec.

Have you tried mating the fork and receiver together without any other attachments (holster, UBL, paddle, etc)?

Yah I tried and it doesn't work. I sent an email over to Safariland for some clarification. I hope they can clear it up for me so I can either warranty if defective or toss if they're knock-offs. ****ing knock-offs.

Safariland customer support was about as useful as a bag of dicks. They told me to return the one that doesn't fit. The problem being is I'm not sure if they're both legit or one is a fake . I included pictures of my receiver plate and the forks...

Sorry man. I haven't been particularly impressed with Safariland's CS either. If you're looking for a Plan B, G Code's RTI system is excellent and compatible with Safariland holsters.

Yah, this interaction with CS left a bitter taste in my mouth. I got around to checking out my buddies gear who had everything issued by his dept. Unless Safariland changed something at some point in time... the markings on the receiver plates don't match up and the forks don't fit his gear either. So I'm going to chalk it up to I bought fakes at some point and put the fakes in the bin.

Curious how much did you pay on ebay?

I just placed an order for MLS15 and MLS18 (6004-15 & 6004-18) from CopsPlus.com and they were only $13 each.
