Default 3TMC Tactical Medicine (Open to All) - Santa Clara, CA - July 19, 2014 -- SOLD OUT

This 8-hour Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course is designed to empower you and your team with the skills needed to successfully function in high-stress situations and treat the three leading causes of preventable combat death: uncontrolled hemorrhage, tension pneumothorax and airway obstruction.

The course is presented in cooperation with ADAPTAGEAR, by 17 year USAF distinguished veteran Luigge Romanillo and a cadre of AFSOC Pararescuemen.

KMI Applied Tactics in partnership with ADAPTAGEAR present:

Course: 3TMC Tactical Medicine
Date: Saturday July 19, 2014
Eligibility: All
Cost: $300 (introductory price)
Duration: 1 Day (8 hours: 830 am to 430pm)
Location: KMI Santa Clara
Contact: apptac@kravmagainstitute.com

During the first half of the course, students are introduced to the essentials of Operational Medicine. Students will learn to use ADAPTAGEAR’s 3TMC™ medical kits with a focus on traumatic accidents, active shooters, bombings, and/or other disaster-type scenarios.

In the second half, we go a step further and introduce students to disaster and Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI’s.) Using the 3TMC method, students learn a streamlined and effective approach to dealing with various types of MCI’s. Using high-stress, scenario-based training with simulated wounds and role players; students are provided with a multi-dimensional learning environment.

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

* Follow the 3TMC mnemonic
* Identify when they’re in a high risk or hostile situation
* Methodically determine a medical response
* Open airways, apply tourniquets, pressure dressings, and effectively use occlusive chest seals
* Prevent, Identify and Manage hypothermia

Note:
No outside weapons or ammunition allowed in the facility at any time.

"The 3TMC course is appropriate training that should be taken by all new recruit police officers and deputy sheriffs up to the veteran SWAT officers, as it extends their law enforcement first responder/public safety first aid training to the next level to handle violent critical incidents. 3TMC truly increases officer safety and survivability."

Words from our MARSOC veteran instructors - those who have BTDT:

What would you do if your (insert loved one/ yourself) was shot, stabbed, accidentally cut or burned themselves, was in a horrible car accident with you or just had a medical accident. Odds are that you are training for a gunfight and have a 1 in 514,147 chance of being/dying in a gunfight, and a 1 in 1,656 chance of dying from a accident/injury in America. How can you prep for the unknown medical events? Lucky for you Luigge Romanillo is on staff. A 17 year veteran USAF Pararescueman who instructs courses at Krav Maga Institute offering 3TMC Tactical Medicine Course that is open to everyone. Be prepared.

Only 4 spots left

As a former Pararescueman (PJ), I have a first-hand appreciation for holistic continuity between equipment and training. It is with this mindset that I decided to embark upon my post-military venture; ADAPTAGEAR.

As our first product, we are proud to launch a tactical medicine module consisting of training and equipment. With my background, I can clearly see the need for a higher level of readiness amongst First Responders when it comes to dealing with hostile and/or terrorist-type events.

This has only been highlighted by the recent tragedies at both the Washington Navy Yard and Ft. Hood. Understanding that we all have constraints with time and money, I designed my 3TMC medical module with the goal of creating a system that is both effective and competitive in price.

Clearly exceeding California's EMSA requirements for Tactical First Aid, we feel that as a single day course, 3TMC can have a direct affect on increasing survivability during these events.

Feel free to contact me at any time should you have any questions.

Luigge
