Default Depressing yet happy clean-up at san diego blm

I went shooting with my cousin and literally packed out the amount equivalent of a 1/2 a residential garbage can of clay, cardboard, shotgun wads and shells, aluminum cans, some shot up wood, toys, and other crap. There were much larger things I couldn't pack out such as a ENTIRE FENCE which would need a hacksaw.

How the hell do people go out there thinking it would be awesome to shoot and destroy the area?

I don't care what you shoot, just pick up your stuff or at least more stuffthan you brought in.

We shoot mainly steel but do enjoy a few clays. We understand that clay doesn't biodegrade for crap so as a result we always pack-out way more clay than we shoot especially since Ranger Funk gave us the okay after watching us clean before (not sure if he writes down license plates for people previously warned or advised). I will say it does suck scooping up all the tiny pieces by hand, but I don't really mind because I do enjoy my clay.

Anyway, that's my rant- hope to join a san diego clean up with a group sometime especially after making some pcv target holders whether it be paper or tied hanging cans that don't goes flying everywhere.

I'll post a picture tomorrow, I actually plan on heading out there tomorrow with my pops and brother to shoot and try and pack out more ****. I would hate to lose this one specific spot.

Props to you for your hard work!
