From the article it looks like they will be charged as juveniles, meaning they'll be back out in no time.

Yeah, I'm also wondering, where are Jesse and Al protesting about the gun violence that could have taken the lives of these aspiring oncologists?

Even experienced LEO's and military miss more than they hit. She probably has had no formal training with her weapon. I've written letters to the NRA encouraging them to offer safety and marksmanship training specifically for those in the inner city.

Her husband bought it for her 2 weeks ago. The thing has rust on it. But it went bang when it had to and did what it was supposed to do. Defend the crib!

I posted to my Facespace with the comment that she need some range time!

One of the creeps was out on bail by the time the story was published.

By the way, there might be more to this story. Why was this place targeted twice in two weeks? The elaborate security and gun seems out of place of someone of her background as well. Did she really do the shooting, or maybe someone else (a boyfriend?) did the shooting, but that person wasn't supposed to have a gun, and so she said it was her gun? I can't help but wonder if there's more to this story.

Elaborate? You can get a 1 camera system for under $200, complete with hard drive.
