If you are now 19, it's an issue.

The answer is, disclose everything. It is better to explain what happened than to explain why you didn't disclose the incident.

One is a past youthful indiscretion.

The other can be seen as current dishonesty.

Better to disclose and be in control of the damage control. If they find out(and they will) you can 100% kiss the possibility of a CCW goodbye. I'm glad I never got caught doing all the stupid stuff I did as an 18 year old. Good Luck

Is a pellet gun a "firearm"? I think I would put it in a different section of the app.

If they find it and you did not disclose you are SOL.

Combustion -

The process of burning.
A chemical change, especially oxidation, accompanied by the production of heat and light

Now with those 3 things provided.... DISCLOSE IT ALL

List it under criminal convictions not under firearms incidents.

If I remember correctly there is a section like "is there anything else you want to tell us?" I would list it there.

PUT IT DOWN!!!!

They had a juvenile record on me - from 35 years ago - - I'm 52, it occurred when I was 17 - they had the info and asked questions about it - stress you have been straight and narrow since.

Just be ready to explain - honesty - honesty - honesty

Steve

Should I tell them about the bleeding I'm experiencing from a rather sensitive part of my body?

Maybe if you can work it into a good cause statement. Hehe.

I would be more concerned with the fact that it was a misdemeanor conviction rather than an incident with a pellet gun. Regardless, you need to disclose it, if you do not, it WILL show up on the background they run on you and you will automatically be DQ'd.

BE HONEST.

The Interviewing officer asked me about any traffic violations. I said that I thought the last one I had was sometime around summer 2001. He looked up and said "Actually, it was June 2001". 12 years ago.

Bottom line! They know everything!
