Default Live in San Diego, work in Riverside county questions???

I will try to be brief as I don't want to reveal unneeded info. I live in unincorporated San Diego County and may soon begin working for a cash for gold/loan company located in Murrieta. The owner and I share an interest in firearms and he mentioned that he would support a CCW for me while employed. I would be doing transfers of jewelry and large sums of money for the company. Sometimes it would involve crossing county lines between stores and also to the gold smelter.

The owner said I would likely apply for CCW with Murrieta PD and they would most likely deny the request and then I could apply with Riverside county SO or Murrieta may kick it directly to Riverside SO.

My questions:
Can I apply in Murrieta or Riverside if I live in San Diego?
Will I have to re apply with San Diego also?
If approved in Riverside, can I carry in San Diego?

I hope I shared enough info (hope I didn't share to much), if I can answer any questions to help clarify please let me know.
Any suggestions or info to help me obtain a CCW for work would be appreciated.

You can apply in Riverside for a work-related LTC.

BUT it would be good only for 90 days, and only in Riverside County. PC 26220(b)
(b) If the licensee's place of employment or business was the
basis for issuance of a license pursuant to Section 26150, the
license is valid for any period of time not to exceed 90 days from
the date of the license. The license shall be valid only in the
county in which the license was originally issued.
And, costs as much and probably would take just as long to get as a regular 2-year license if you lived in Riverside Co.

Under current policies and administrators, LTC from San Diego is unlikely.

There is no value at all complaining or analyzing or reading tea leaves to decide what these bills really mean or actually do; any bill with a chance to pass will be bad for gun owners.

The details only count after the Governor signs the bills.

As far as i know, you have to apply in the county which you reside..When I started the process, I originally tried to apply in San Bernardino county , whrer i own some rental properties. i walke into the San Bernardino Sherrifs office and explained my situation.I live in Riverside , but have the rentals in San Bernardino.ect..They told me that I had to apply with the Riverside S.O. because that's where I live..So I went through the R.S.D...They were awesome, and very helpful.Four months later I got my CCW..Hope that helps..

Move to Riverside, Apply for CCW and get it. Problem solved and you save gas...
