Default M&P 9mm Magazine Rebuild Kits?

Has anyone seen any M&P 9mm magazine rebuild kits in stock anywhere?

I have been looking for months now.

How much are you asking for per kit?

Sorry to bump a semi-old thread, but 44mag.com has them in stock again for $59.99 each + $2.95 kit fee... steep, but with the CA deadline coming, what can you do?

http://www.44mag.com/product/m_p_9/smith_and_wesson

Obviously, quantities are limited. 73 left when I posted this.

Small update, FYI, from the 44mag.com site:

Quote:
Attention California customers: Due to the passage of California AB 48 we are discontinuing the sale of magazine repair kits.
Friday, December 6 will be the final day for placing magazine repair kit orders.
They seem to have refreshed inventory, 100+ units available now. Good luck!

funny... 44 offers a great deal on the 10 rounders at $25/each, but wow... $63/each for a standard 17??

on a different note, why are M&P mags suddenly SOOO hard to find this year. didn't own one in the past, but i don't recall there being a big shortage of mags before.

I think we're paying the premium for them being the only seller left that will ship rebuilds into CA (until tomorrow anyhow).

not sure why the supply went to crap on M&P mags though... it did seem that this year was especially bad for mags, even the 10-round versions.

44 mag use to be good until they got greedy. Last time I checked they were selling these for almost $100 now they are 60.....

Midwayusa has them for 33 if you have an out of state connection.

Default OEM?

Why do the charliecooper's look different from others I see on the internet? These show what appear to be different plastic "serrations" at the bottom of the mag compared to the same side profiles of others. The bottom plate also appears to be different. Below is a link to one I'm comparing with...

2nd that.

The 10 round ones have higher base pads (limiter) and the standard mags have flat base pads. It seems to be the reverse in the pictures they show.

FWIW, I emailed them and they confirmed the photo is of a 10-rounder, but they are selling 17-rounders.

*EDIT* Pic has been updated...

Morning Folks --

I was informed by you guys today (above) that our stock photo for these 17rd didn't update correctly. We just got her changed, and I've confirmed that the picture matches what we are actually delivering on both the M&P 9mm and the M&P .45ACP.

Sorry about that confusion, and thank you for catching this for us!!!!
