I suggest that Exodus own The Angeles thread, seeing as he is probably the shooter in this group who practically lives there
 That way we've always got one place to look for the next AFR trips coming together. I'll take this opportunity to plug the trip for TOMORROW Nov-6. Should be getting there around 3:30PM! PM me to trade contact info!

I went last night to try out this place for the first time. cheaper to shoot than oak tree. I just didn't like that the steel targets and the regular target was together. Its 5min wait while paper target peps check their targets. Over all it was an ok night and definitely an alternative place to shoot!

it's a different vibe, much more spartan
two huge ranges instead of 6 little ones can't beat the 600 yard rifle side with steel tho, oak tree needs to get that going also AFR has 50 cent cans of soda from the machine

Each has it's ups and downs. More mall ninjas at Angeles. Angeles takes all your brass. Their saving grace for me is the 600yd range. Reloading store is nifty too.
I prefer Oak Tree for clays and pistols. Oak Tree has a nice pro shop, it's a friendlier environment, less mall ninjas, you can pick up your brass, and they have rentals. I try to not go to Angeles on weekends actually. It gets way to hectic and borderline dangerous sometimes.
