Nothing special and a bad pic. Recently purchased a cheap Citadel to learn how to work on a 1911. I got bored last week and polished the barrel, sanded the hammer and installed Hogue rubber grips, Ed Brown trigger (which took some fitting), firing pin, firing pin spring, firing pin stop, GI guide rod, Wolf extra power spring, Fusion mainspring housing, Colt sear spring and added some Cobra mags. I've made some mistakes, but it's been fun learning.

removed due to huge size

Just a quick update, 6" Nowlin barrel added, peeking out of the long nickel bushing. Lockup is tight right now, but it's so awesome. Kimber 10mm.

Exactly. Always the first drill to do when a malfunction occurs. The magazine Recoil had a good article about malfunction drills in it last month or the one before that.

When I first pick her up a few months ago.

She now sports a Harrison Custom short trigger, WC GI guide rod and plug. Also did a trigger job and now has a clean and crisp break a little under 4lbs.
