Default Help! Just got XPS2-2 with QD mount--out of spec Upper rec. top?

Guys,
Is there a fix without having to replace a new upper receiver?
Just got the EoTech and it moves back/forth.
In place of hand-guard I the these free float Hg's and the EO sits/fits snugly.

Now that I think about it, I have these 1" new tactical qd scope rings from Burris that do the same thing on this upper but are just fine on the handguard rail.
Pls help!!!

bro, moving from one to another slot did nt help at all.
The side screw can be tightened but I had to remove the sight and use a nickle.
It is not fully tight but I am still not happy with the upper being that way. When it was looses, it was moving back/forth considerably, not even like just a bit.

I paid 129 for the upper receiver when I had it replaced and now I am pissed as hell. Why would anyone make an out f spec upper like that? I think this is YHM.
My Burris scope rings wound not even tighten as mush as EOtech was able to.

Do you have a another upper to compare it to, or a set of calipers to take some measurements?

That's really weird. YHM is usually good stuff? Could it be a knock-off?

Guys, I do not have the calipers .
I first noticed the issue when I tried to mount there burris tactical rings.
I could nt tighter them enough to stay in place so what I did was mount the rings on my sig556r and then on the hand guard rail on the AR and they fitted just fine.

Now that i think about it I did not buy the upper receiver. The smith had a bunch of em at the show on display with a lot of YHM stuff. I wish there was a way I could 100% confirm but I was certain it was YHM. Thgsi was last year so doubt he will remember.
