Default Who's going shooting this week?

More than 72 hours have elapsed since I did any shooting, getting antsy.

Also, the Eotech from the deal came in and it appears to be in great working order. Looking forward to zeroing this bad boy.

I realize Burro is this coming Sunday but that's still 6 whole days away.

Exodus did you hit up AFR today?

I think this coming friday will be the Burbank shoot. (handgun calibers only)
Saturday, Piru IDPA if you want to join along.
Sunday, Burro.
I would recommend doing a 50yd zero with your Eotech. You can find a 25/50 paper online if your planning to zero it @ LAX for example.

Clairvaux, since you're in the South Bay, perhaps carpooling can be a possibility with someone in that area? I'm in Santa Monica personally, and I may go to the Prado IDPA shoot in two weeks if I can find enough people to carpool with. I know WhatWhy lives a few miles from me, too.

Carpool would be hot, let's make it happen. Gotta be somebody with a big vehicle though. My car is on the small side for cargo.

I can carpool for both Piru or Prado since I'm kinda like in the middle of both.

Wednesday night zeroing / parts run @ Angeles!
Friday Night Pistol Action @ Firing Line Burbank!
Saturday BBQ Goodness @ Burro!
And on Sunday we rested... and cleaned guns... until we got the hankering to go to some of the local ranges to plink!

Hey OP, I hear you wore body armor to the LAX shoot

I may need to start armoring up at the range.... I got muzzled by an AR, a 22 AR, and a freaking 357 magnum, my god was I scared....

When we pulled up to the range, there was a group of Eastern Europeans (Not going to specify because I don't want to get this thread pulled)
Anyways, they were having lots of fun, until my friend told me that we just got muzzled by an AR, that certain individual also had his finger on the trigger....

to continue, we just kinda chilled and warmed up then all of a sudden, the paramedics pulled up, two member of that group got hurt by a revolver, one substaining a hand injury (due to lack of competence and grabbing the revolver like a semi automatic.... which is NOT ALLOWED because that gap in the cylinder will cut your hand) another member of that party apparently substained a shrapnel wound to the neck, almost to the jugular...

so they got wrapped up by the EMTs and Fire Dept the last guy decided to shoot the 357, and guess what.... he didn't handle the revolver right and the revolver came full force and left a bad cut on his forehead, and that is when he turned around, hand on the gun, finger on the trigger.... muzzled everyone behind the firing line...

that was when my friend decided to put his 338 lapua magnum on the bench as close to the rear of the bench and started to shoot so they would leave, which they did

anyone know where I can get some level 4 plates? LOL

Isn't the first day of the week Sunday? If so I was at the range half the day, and will be making a 9 hour trek to Tucson,Az to shoot the "Duel in the Desert" on Saturday.

Wow, all that went down at LAX recently?

I would have at the very least brought it to the attention of the RSO for the range, if not made the whole thing a learning opportunity for a group of new shooters with some corrective constructive criticism.

Man that is crazy!

And now we know why so many ROs and gun store employees have a Dickish rep, imagine dealing with that on a daily basis!

I don't think you want my suggestions. My two hobbies are guns and fishing, and both are expensive.

I have a couple of reels that are almost $500 bucks and that's not even including the rod.
