I went there once with a buddy about 10 years ago on a Saturday and was completely turned off by all the wannabe thugs and retards. I recently built a 20" scoped AR and have no experience with sighting in scopes and was thinking about going this coming Monday from 10-2pm ish . Anyone planning on going Monday?

Yeah, that guy is a *****. Him and a couple of the newer guys gave me crap every single time I picked up my brass. Every time I picked up my brass one would come running over and asked if that was my brass. I told him yeah, I put my name on every case. My name is Winchester Remington.

An RO was trying to convince himself that the yugo ammo I was shooting was magnetic lol. I had already fired 100 rounds prior from him testing it. He said that every time he sees Russian writing on the box its always magnetic. He tested it 3x, on the 3rd time he was like "ohh, we might have a little something here. Nevermind your good" I was just laughing when he did that. I even explained to him that yugo's are the only none magnetic surplus as he was testing it. From all the times I've been there he was the only one that tested them. He even asked me how old my gun was, i told him "IDK" and he was like "oh it looks old." (stock WASR hand guards and laminated romanian G buttstock) Other RO's just walks by, and I remember an RO was testing a new RO about ammos and he walks up to me and ask the new RO what caliber the ammo was and where it was from and that was it.

Went to Angeles two weekends ago and it was pretty packed. Had to wait for a table to open up, it's been months since I had to do that. I guess the ammo shortage is starting to ease. The Reloading Store was still pretty bare with almost no powder or small rifle primers. Also have to report that they are not bugging me about picking up my brass anymore, which was starting to irritate me. I guess they do pay attention to what people say about them on this forum. Went there again after work on Wednesday for their half price evening special and the place was empty. Might have to do that more often now that weekends are getting crowded again.

I was there with a friend this last Thursday on the rifle side, seemed like normal, rifle line was about 70% or so. We got there at 10 and stayed til about 12:30. Felt to me like the regular Thursday crowd pre-panic.

Not only do places like Angeles have to make enough money to stay open, but if shooting continues to become more difficult and expensive future shooters will become more rare and so will the public support for the 2nd Amendment. Actually going now is reminiscent of what it used to be like about 15-20 years ago when I used to go as a teenager. I like it.

Never had a problem with picking up brass,at Angeles.I have been going lately to the Calguns BBQ shoots at Burro. This way I can shoot pistols, rifles and shotguns at the same time, instead of switching sides ,like you have to do at Angeles on the weeekends. This way my kids and the wife can shoot.
