Default Number of CCW's in Placer

FWIW, I was looking over the Placer Board of Supervisors budget session from last week and the Undersheriff provided these statistics to the Board during his session: in 2001 - 2008 PCSO averaged 75 new ccw's annually, in 2008 they had 120 new applicants and 734 total permits issued, in 2012 new applicants jumped to 759 with a total of 1946 permits issued, and year to date in 2013 they have 613 new applicants and a total of 2420 CCW's active in Placer. He went on to say that they anticipated 1150 new applicants for all of 2013. He also indicated they had 3 PT investigators processing applicants, but that they now had a 6 month backlog.

Here's a link to the meeting, you can jump to the Sheriff's session via a link below the viewer:
He starts in on CCW's at about 5:00:00 on the timer.

Quite a jump here, curious what the numbers might be in other counties. Glad the legislature is in tune with our wants, huh.....

Default Sac County

Quite a jump here, curious what the numbers might be in other counties.

FWIW, as of 7/31/2013 there were 3658 active permits and 695 applications somewhere in process in Sacramento County.

It all seems good but they still deny a lot of people with good GC. They are still backward as far as I am concerned. I was hoping they would have been sued by now to make it a Shall Issue county.
