I love this skinny little fukcer. Mine is from approx 1990. Sooo fun to shoot. The mall ninjas think it's a boring old cowboy gun but I love it.
The blueing is really nice and the hardwood is very purty, too. I've shot several of the original Winchester gallery 22s and they're great. I just happened to have the Rossi version. (a lil' fresher/newer) I don't see too many of these nowadays... i'm curious if anyone else has one ![]() |

I have a Taurus 62, great little rifle. I wish I would've bought the rear tang sight when they were available, they're impossible to find now. The only thing I don't like is the ugly safety on the top.

I bought one from a Calguns member a few months ago. Fun to shoot but not very accurate. ALL of my other .22 rifles shoot tighter groups.. - even my stable of AR-7's. I get 4 to 5" groups with the Rossi. My AR-7's will shoot 2 to 3" at 50 yards.

Had the carbine version of the Rossi. Fun little shooter, but I got rid of it when I thinned out my .22 rifle collection.

I have a Winchester model 1906 pump that is accurate 3" groups @ 100 yards, so nice and fun to shoot, had to add 2 Remington model 12's to the group.
Everyone who gets to use them love the novelty and accuracy of these old girls. They are 22 s, l, & lr. I've always shot CCI 22lrs in them. If you never shot one of these older gallery guns, you gotta do it. They are a ball!! |

roger 1022,
You have good taste in .22 rilfes, bud! when i first saw this lil Rossi i had never seen a pump .22 before....what a joy to shoot. That rear tang sight is cool...but it looks like it might break easily if youre not careful...?... and those Taurus models look nice in SS...wow. my rossi 26a isnt made by taurus. its an amadeo rossi from 1990...imported by interarms. ![]() i remember when Taurus took over making the Rossi pistols in the late 90s and i think braztech imports both taurus/rossi pistols and rossi rilfes...but im not sure of the most recent arrangements they've made so you may be correct as far as newer rossi rifles are concerned. most of the cowboy gun folks i meet scoff @ anything that's not a Winchester... i understand where theyre coming from. but these pump 22s are IMO the best plinkers ever |

LR, S, and CB. I'm gonna keep trying to find something it likes. Also shoots 4" right at 50yd. Gotta figure out the best method to drift that front sight over a smidgen

I had a pair, they were my daughters' first rifles. They were both good enough to nail a soda can at 50 yards and light enough for a young girl to hold up without getting tired. Nice rifles.

I have never played with the lesser gallery gun wanna bes like the Rossi. But, I love my Win '06s. I wish I didn't have to sell my 1890 back in the mid '80s. I also havve a Rem model 12 and a Rem 121 Routledge. Have you ever seen a .22lr shotgun before? I like the 121 Routledge better than other Routledges I've seen because, the pump action feels more like a bigger shotgun.

Love the pump action rimfires. Henry still makes one; it's a beauty with an octagon barrel. Great company, all American parts and manufacture, and outstanding customer service if needed.

I have the Rossi in the take down version. Great little rifle. The best part is keeping the trigger pressed whilst pumping the action. The trigger needs NO reset. So it shoots every pump. It's dam near a semi auto.
Mine shoots shorts, long and long rifle effortlessly. T |
