How much are those HK's running now? I have seen them on GB for 3k, but I'll admit I haven't been paying much attention.

3 or 4k for an Hk?????? I learned that "Hk" stands for "Holy Krap!". Because thats what you say when you see the MSRP for any of their personal weapons. Screw that. Hk rapes their customers. I'd stick with a Colt AR platform all the way. Cheaper parts and service everywhere.

I have never seen one actually in stock at an LGS for less than $3200.00, and have seen them as high as $3600.00. My LGS usually sells them the same day they come in for more than MSRP. I have seen cheaper prices online, but they are also back ordered. For me personally, it was worth the coin to make sure I got it before the new laws coming in a few months.
