Default Trunk Gun storage spot for Tacomas

Now that I no longer own this truck, I can tell you where it is...

Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. Just requires one easy hole drilled in the plastic for the muzzle. Held in place by one velcro strap around the castle nut. Still plenty of room left for ammo.

Truck deserves a big 'CTU' sticker on window for that.

Nice, we used to have a Suburban where the cup holders pulled out. I used to keep an extra CCW weapon there on trips, and from the outside you could not tell the cup holders came out.

I had to get more clever than that with my extra cab. I don't carry it in the truck anymore(I kept thinking what if the truck was stolen?).

The Tacoma has a lot of room for storage.

That is badass.

I wish it was as easy to find a truck long gun spot in my extended cab Ranger.

An SBR would have fit perfectly.

Awesome!

It's a 2nd Gen (2006) Double Cab Shortbed TRD PreRunner. As far as I know, only the DoubleCabs have that compartment behind the rear seats, but not sure.

About 8 inches on the rear compartment, the front compartment about 3 inches.

That's pretty neat. Almost looks like it was made to fit an AR..... Minus the hole you drilled.

They had those living in Free America in mind. They figured they'd just have an SBR
