Default Any So Cal shops carry GSG 1911 22LR?

I'm looking to purchase the Cal legal GSG 1911 on Buds gun shop but was thinking I might save money if I just bought it from a retailer. Anyone see one in Los Angeles area?

I saw a couple at the Turners in orange. Call your nearest turners and they can have it sent from the warehouse.

If your looking for mags I got an email from Joe Bob Outfitters today that they have them in stock. Still in stock as of right now as far as I can tell.

Come up to the SF Bay Area if you want to pay anywhere from 419.99 to 449.99 BEFORE Tax and DROS for one of those ATI/GSGs.

OTD Priced almost the same as it would cost if ordering from Bud's, Grabagun, etc.

Thanks everyone for the help. I never shop at Turners (hate their service) but I bit the bullet and found one at the Reseda location today. Paid 390ish OTD + dros. The service was surprisingly very good and the wait was short. Maybe Turners has turned a new leaf. The fit and finish is on par at the price point, I just hope I got the good one and it's reliable. I need a break from draining my bank account purchasing 45 acp and 9mm for my 1911's

Service at Turners depend entirely on the person helping you. They have a lot of employees, and you get all kinds. To be expected at any retail chain, whether it's Big 5 or McDonalds.

One of the first things I replaced on mine was the mainspring housing. That curved, non-traditional one just had to go. Would like to ditch the plastic sights too but not sure I want to dump more $ on a "cheap" plinker.

Take a look at http://www.cwaccessories.com/ if you haven't already.

I completely agree with you regarding service. I guess I'm referring specifically to Turner's in Reseda. I went to PPT there a couple years ago with a Calgunner and it was the worst experience ever. Waited forever and when it was our turn, we were served by one of the rudest employees I have ever dealt with.

Thank you for the link! I already have a flat mainspring housing on the way and will probably buy that guide rod setup. I dont plan on spending any more money on it because I just need a cheap plinker that mimics my full size 1911's.

Turner's can be hit or miss. I usually feel rushed and unwelcome and rarely get to talk to a gun sales staff member in under an hour a the FV store bur recently made a purchase at the one in Orange where I did't even get to the store until 20 minutes before closing and I had time to inspect the weapon I was interested in, begin the paperwork, and get out of their hair before closing time. All 4 staff members I dealt with were friendly, courteous, and professional. I think it comes down to the local management. Their operation should serve as a model for the others.
