Default 3 Gun Competitions - Where to start?

Forgive my lack of expertise on competition shooting but since the beginning of the year I've had more free time to pursue my hobbies, one of which is shooting. I'm recently got assigned in the Sacramento area in the military and would like to start going to training classes and competitions, but not sure where in the area they offer them. Thanks for the help!

The Sac Valley NCPS guys should be here shortly to help. Are you already shooting the pistol competitions, USPSA or IDPA? You should be as it makes 3gun easier to start.

The NCPS, USPSA club is holding there Memorial Day 3 Gun Match on Monday the 27th at the Sacramento Valley Shooting Range.
The match is full, but you are welcome to come out and watch, see what gear and firearms are used, stages, targets. Richmond Hotshots offers a Multi-Gun Safety and training class, highly recommended! Most clubs are only letting shooters who have taken a class, or are a USPSA/IDPA shooter participate in matches. The NCPS match is not a beginners match.
Long range stage targets can go out to 400 yds.
The stages are posted at www.actionpistol.org
SuperSet are you coming up for the match?
HighLander51 beat me to it. LOL!

Sorry you'll miss it. Always good to see you back in NorCal.
Take care. Don't let the heat and humidity get you back in DC.

most classes and competitions are in Sac Valley shooting center.
Gray Ops, TFTT, LMS have regular trainings there, Alias and Grey Groups sometimes use it too.

Contact Raymond and signup for the RRGC safe multi-gunner class. Great way to get started. As mentioned above it would be a great help to already be shooting in USPSA style pistol matches before you jump into multi-gun.

Once you have taken the RRGC multi-gun class you can participate in the monthly multi-gun practice stage Raymond runs.
