Are you guys talking about karma, Iraq? I was there back in 04 with 1/5. We satyed in shahabi at the food distribution center there along with the icdc place across the road. In karma we lived in the school house and the police station. From time to time we would get chicken from the restaurant across the street from the police station.

Yea I was in Karma two separate times in 06 and 08-09. In 06 I was with 1/1 and we had the area just to the north of Karma around OP4. In 08, I was with 1/3 and I was on the East Karma Road area. All I can say is "f**k that place."

Because it is easyier than saying oif/oef vet!?
More than likley he was in "both wars." We were both in school in 29 palmms at the begining of the war in iraq. So i am pretty sure he earned ICM in oif. Oef denotes he was also in afgan during the later part of the war effort. Which was/is very common for the Marines.

My unit is a Heavy Chem Company, so we wash cars in decon and sit in air conditioned trucks if you're in the BIDS platoon.
