Default Barrel Replacement for production?

I have been wondering this for a while...
Can I use aftermarket barrel/recoil spring in production class for both USPSA and IDPA?

my current barrel has nearly 20k round count. Eventually I will have to replace it.
But do I have to use the original Springfield factory barrels? or can I use other products such as Bar-Sto?

USPSA Appendix D4 21.3 allows aftermarket replacement slides and barrels of the same caliber and dimensions as the original. Why do you think you barrels is worn out at only 20,000 rounds? It should go to 100,000 rounds with no noticeable change in accuracy. IDPA allows same caliber barrels, don't know about slides.
