Default Any Replica Colt 1860 Centaures out there?

A Centaure is a Belgium made replica Colt 1860 black powder pistol. If any of you have one or for sale. Give me a shout. It does not have to be in working condition.

Thanks.

Default There are many 1860 replicas out there, but Centaure is what I am looking for.

There are many 1860 replicas out there, but Centaure is what I am looking for. They were made in the 1960's and only 20k were made. They were made in Belgium and under a patent from Colt, meaning that they are using parts that could be interchangeable with the originals.

Sorry. Does Centaure refer to the Belgian manufacturer?

Yes, the Centaures are made in Belgium. Check out the site that JTecalo postes, I am member number 151, signed up just today. Worth reading about if you are a collector of fine antique pistols. Thanks.

Bookmarked and I'll check it out when I have time. It's always good to find a new forum to look over; thanks.

OP - I'd never heard of these particular reproduction revolvers before -- good luck on your search.
