Default WTT: Licensed plumber/electrician willing to trade for your guns and ammo! (or cash)

Yes, I want all of them!!!

No, just kidding. In all seriousness though, I'm a gun enthusiast first and a licensed plumber/electrician second I'm having a hard time justifying the guns/ammo purchases to the GF, so I'm proposing a trade....I'll do whatever work you need done in exchange for guns, gun parts, ammo, your first born, etc.

Obviously, the scope of the work will dictate what I'd accept as a trade. Shoot me a PM with what you need done and what you have to offer and let's work something out....if you don't want to trade anything, we could work out a cash price with (obviously) a Calguns discount.

I'm in North Hollywood, but service pretty much the entire LA area. Depending on the job, I don't mind traveling a bit out of my usual service area either.

I hope this is ok with the moderators....I'm posting a link to my website, just to prove I'm a legitimate business http://www.idl-plumb.com.

I am a licensed plumber and as of 11/4/14, I'm also a licensed electrician (woohoo!). Anything you need done, plumbing or electrical, residential or commercial, from the plain to the custom - just let me know!

Don't hesitate to PM me if you need anything done or if you have any questions. I don't mind trying to help out a DIYer and I'm not going to charge you for advice, lol.

Thanks for reading!

BigMak, if you want to PM me, we can discuss it further. It's going to really depend on the type/size if sprinklers, number of valves, etc.

I would like to share my experience with idplumb. I was having a problem with the pilot light going out on a a 2 year old water heater. Called the original plumber who installed it as well as the gas company, both sent out plumber/technician but neither of them was able to resolve the issue. Happened on this thread by accident and contacted idlplumb, not only was he able to resolve the issue but his charges are very reasonable. He is a courteous young man who really knows his stuff.

Default Help!

Hi Idlplumb,
So I'm a DIY in need of some advice... and most likely will end up needing some help.

I had a leak in my restroom faucet so I decided to replace it. Everything went OK... I shut off the water, removed the old faucet, cleaned the area, applied silicone caulk and placed the new faucet, started to tighten the water supply lines to the faucet and everything went to hell. I snapped one of the water supply lines (shown in the top pic). So I guess I need to replace that water supply line. As I was loosening the piece in the top pic, the whole thing turned and I got a bit worried that water may come running out if I take it out... Can I just remove it and replace? Thanks for any advice!

Yes sir. That angle stop will need to be replaced. If you do replace it yourself, you need to make sure you shut off the water to your home first, or else water will gush out as soon as the old valve is removed.

PM me if you need any help. I'll PM you my phone number now.
