Hey, that's MY Seecamp! I love that girl.

It's a belly gun for close in work. At those distances, sights are worthless anyhow.

NRai2001- when you are writing your post look at the bar just above the box you're typing in. You will notice a yellow button that looks like a picture of a mountain. Click on it and a window will pop up. Paste your link in the window and hit ok.

Will certainly agree with that. I carry a G27 IWB but I do have a Galco Pocket protector that I keep it in, laying on my desk or coffee table. I can drop it in my pocket to run to the convenience store or if there's an unexpected knock at the door. But it's definitely too heavy to think about carrying it around all day in a pocket.

Doesn't that just insert a link ? How do you go about pasting or placing the pic so that you don't need to click on a link to view the picture?? Thanks been trying to figure this out..

J Frame. They are a little bigger than the tiny semi autos, but because of their shape hide better.

+1 for Beretta Tomcat 32acp. Sure, it's a 32, but it's a tiny tiny gun and fits well in the pocket.

Personally, it's not fun to shoot, but its there if you need it.

I pocket carry an LCP pretty much all the time. I have a G26 and it is NOT a pocket gun. I also had an LC9, but that gun is a DOG. The trigger SUCKS, and it's too big for pocket carry. My buddy carries the Kahr .380, its almost the exact same size as the LCP. Save yourself the headache and either spring for the Kahr, or PPT an LCP.

+1 above

I was looking for a pocket gun myself. What I came up with was the following in order Kahr P380, Kahr PM9/40, and LC9.
Matter of fact I am picking up my Kahr P380 out of jail today leaving in about 1 hour.

Holster for it looking for a ankle holster for jeans and a pocket wallet for my shorts and I'll be set..
Probably use Speer Gold Dots or Ranger ammo for it. Will post pictures soon..

The LCP is really nice in a DeSantis Nemesis. Even with the Crimson Trace LG, it just disappears in most pockets. Another one of my favorite carry pieces.

SPECIFICATIONS
Model: Bodyguard 380
Manufacturer: Smith & Wesson, www.swith-wesson.com

Finish: Matte black Melonite
Sights: Fixed front, drift-adjustable rear, integrated Insight laser
Trigger: 8 lbs., 7 oz. pull; DAO
Safety: Thumb safety
Price: $575

-------------------------------

Ruger LCP Pistol Specs:

Caliber: .380 Auto
Capacity: 6+1
Weight: 9.40 oz. (Standard), 9.90 oz. (LCP-LM)
Length: 5.16"
Width: 0.82"

Barrel Finish: Blued
Grooves: 6
Twist: 1:16"
Slide Material: Alloy Steel
Slide Finish: Blued
Grip Frame: Black, High Performance, Glass-Filled Nylon Sights: Fixed Front and Rear

It looks like the bodyguard is .07 inches slimmer, but the LCP is smaller and lighter in every other dimension. Perhaps you were looking at the LC9.

I agree that the LCP in a Desantis Nemisis holster is just about perfect. It's my every day carry.

What I don't like about the Bodyguard is the way you activate the laser. It's awkward for me.

The CTG on the LCP activates without thought, you just grip the pistol, and it's on. Big + for a CCW weapon IMHO.

Here are a couple of pictures of my new Kahr P380 I still can not believe on how small it really is compared to a Chilli's Gift card not to mention on how narrow it is as well. I've been looking for a wallet holster for it and found this one made by Talon Wallet Holster for Kahr P380 and a YouTube video ----> H E R E

Kel-Tec PF9 - Under $450 even with the SSE.

For a little more power - Glock 33.

It's like firing 9mms on steroids.....

No one has mentioned the Ruger LCR?? Either .38 or .357 would be a good choice. Pictured is the .357.

I've been wanting to get the wife a SIG P232 for her purse for years. Sexy little pistol....was on the list last time I checked but that's some time ago now.

I like my little Kel-Tec P32:

7+1, have several 10 round magazines for it as well. Not fun to shoot - snappy as all get-out, tiny, and loud. But it's been insanely reliable (maybe 2 jams out of 2000 rounds down the pipe) and it's incredibly tiny. And for those who snicker at 32 ACP - it was designed by John Moses Browning, started WWI and ended Hitler's life, and a hot-load 32 ACP packs as much punch as many .38 special loads.

I've also got a pocket holster for it from PocketHolsters.com - fits right in the rear right pocket, ended up the size of a wallet. Used to carry all the time (legally) back up in WA State; now, no CPL in CA...

Seecamp is a first rate pistol - - hard to go wrong. Check out the Bullafo Bore .32 ammunition. https://www.buffalobore.com/index.ph...duct_list&c=87

Certainly more comfortable with a .32ACP than I would be with no gun at all or than I am with a .22LR or .25. While it is definitely "a gun to carry when I can't carry a gun," I feel no need to replace my old Kel-Tec P32 with a similar sized gun in .380.

I'm pretty much convinced that in "micro pistols" the .32 is at least as good a choice as .380. While the .380 is meaningfully more powerful round-for-round, in something like the LCP the recoil significantly impacts the controlability of the weapon. At least in my hands in a most-likely single-hand shooting situation, I can put 3 well-placed rounds into a target with my P32 in the time I need to get off two shots with the LCP and 5 rounds of .32 compared to three from the .380. If you do the math on the wound channels, the "crush cavity volume" is roughly equal for both FMJ loads and "best combat loads." With equal "ventilation of the target" I figure the extra bullets are a net advantage in terms of an improved chance of hitting something really important.

The big advantage of the .380 is that it has benefited from tremendous advances in bullet technology while the .32 has pretty much been a backwater. On top of that, most American .32 loads are pretty anemic compared to European products, yielding 90 to 100FPE out of a short barrel compared to something like Fiocchi or S&B at 120+. In fact, out of these micro pistols most "modern" bullets for the .32ACP are problematic in that these either don't expand at all or don't have much penetration if the bullet does expand. Interestingly, in terms of crush cavity volume the best .32 load is a "failed" JHP where the nose collapses and converts the bullet into what is effectively a wadcutter. (My current load of choice is the Fiocchi 60gr JHP which provides a "wadcutter" bullet and about 13" of penetration. I really want to see someone like Hornady bring out a high-energy load with a "scheduled" controlled expansion bullet yielding the same 10" to 11" penetration as the best .380 load out of this size pistol.
