Picked up the Browning BDA today and the wife already likes it, hope to take her to the range soon so we can run a few thru it. I was able to pick up 600 rounds of 380 reasonable.

Only if you mean "short bus special", IMHO.

You even contradict yourself, by saying you're not bragging about spending too much, yet your the one that brought up the price and continue to restate how much you OVERSPENT.

Nice weapon, and wouldn't mind adding one to my constantly growing collection, but not for that price, even in today's market.
Jeez, did you not read what I wrote?

First off, who the heck brags about overspending? Like I said before, I was the butt of jokes from members of these forums because they thought I was getting ripped off for paying so much. I wanted to clarify that it was not the seller who initiated that price, but it was me.

The current political atmosphere coupled with the fact that I've wanted a Glock all my life were the main reasons why I decided to overpay, FYI.

Also, I'm not rich. Far from it. It took me 7 months to get the money to pay for it. Btw, I earn minimum wage.

So in conclusion - not bragging. not rich. Glock 4 life.

Guess what.

The only opinions which matter are those of the buyer and the seller.

You say he overpaid.Compared to you, that's probably true.

But if we compare YOUR purchase price of a G17 to that of a LEO who got his for $200, then we can say you too, also overpaid.

As long as the buyer and seller both are happy, who cares about the amount?

Put a Glock 17 and FN P-12 shotgun 3 days ago, then a Glock 23 yesterday. Still debating if I'll hold onto the 17 since my goal was to consolidate to 40s.

I pick up a Ruger New Vaquero in 357mag on Sunday. Stainless, 4 3/4 barrel. First time at Fowlers. Overall good experience.

Glock 19. Dros starts on the 28th. So jail term ends on the 7th.

A 1930's (according to what little info I have found so far) Stevens 66C
It is a beautiful rifle! Well taken care of, mirrror shiny bore, no signs of pitting inside, minor- insignificant rust spots outside, bolt and receiver were packed with grease.

Purchased a Beretta 92FS from Parallax Tactical on Saturday. Saw their facebook post Friday night...decided to head over to P2k the next morning and rent one.

Even though it had the Hogue grip, it felt great and I shot it better then my other handguns.

After tax and DROS, $602. Now the ten day wait begins!
