Seems like we need to take a page from the LGBT handbook and ALL become single issue voters. In every election we need to get behind the Pro-2A Candidate and support and vote!

Gotta love how those lines take a narrow corridor of SD county all along the border. Not trying to stack that district with Hispanic voters at all are they?

from Raphael Estrada.

I believe The right to bear arms is a basic Constitutional right and expresses the democratic principle of self-defense against tyrannical government. It's not the instrument, it's the morality. Gun ownership should not be restricted - most gun owners use them safely and responsibly. To reduce gun-related crimes,we have to address the moral problems of society and other issues.By violating our second amendment rights and banning weapons, WILL NOT put a stop to all who want to do harm. Background checks cannot determine a person's mental state!PEOPLE KILL, NOT GUNS! Plus as it is, California has numerous restrictions and laws when it comes to assault weapons and magazine sizes, so by banning weapons is clearly a violation of our Constitutional right!I believe the rest of the nation should follow our lead. If elected to office I will protect our God given right to bear arms by not allowing a few tragic incidents influence and dictate how we will live the rest of our lives.I will fight to improve the background check process and Tighten registration rules and keep guns away from kids.
I also wanted to add that I believe empowerment of our people and neighborhoods is essential, I pledge that if elected, I will give predominately all of the Proposed salary back to the citizens of District 40 b funding education and development of Small Businesses. I have challenged all of our local civic leaders to do the same also!
I apologize for the late response, but initially there was a technicality and I was not placed on the ballot. But, I am now an Official Write-In Candidate and it would be an honor to have your support! I hope I answered your question. If you have any other questions I will be more than glad to answer them. Remember to WRITE-In RAFAEL ESTRADA on March 12!

God Bless!

Rafael Estrada

Even though Gionis has an "A" rating by the CRPA, I can not see myself voting for her. I don't think she is honest. I believe she is claiming to be pro 2A just to get the votes.

Honest? Like all of the other elected officials/candidates (and the ones running in this election) who don't hold up the Constitution? You can only take them at their word. If she is saying she is pro-2a, then she is until you can determine its a lie. All of the other candidates are against the 2a (their word). There is no illusion with the others where they allegiance lies. If you want to verify she will stand up for the 2a, call her campaign. It's easy if you think your 2a rights are important enough to know more before you vote.

How did Gastelum get a "B" rating from the CRPA if he is against the 2a? Do you have a link or something showing he is anti 2a?

If Gionis is dishonest, what good would it do to call her campaign and ask her or her staff anything? Great advice there.

Even if Gionis is pro 2a, how can anyone overlook the crap she is involved with.

These are all from the NBCSandiego.com links that I posted above. If these allegations prove to be true, I see Gionis possibly facing civil or even criminal charges.

Video here: http://www.nbcsandiego.com/video/#!/...sity/190107071

This was an email from a student from Ghana: "I claim to be pursuing public health, but unfortunately I cannot speak on public health related issues. This is because I am studying fiction. There is no doubt that, Aristotle University have lured us immigrants into the USA only to use as money making machines at the expense of our future."

“The allegations against Aristotle University are ridiculous and unfounded,” said Xanthi Gionis, founder and dean of Aristotle University, at the press conference.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has launched an investigation into a North County university.

On its website, which has now been taken down, Aristotle University claimed it was licensed by the Bureau for Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education, but a spokesperson from that bureau told NBC 7 there is no record of it ever being
licensed by the state.

State regulators ordered Aristotle University in Carlsbad to shut down or face a fine. The school must also stop enrolling students.

Gionis, who has recently come under heavy criticism from teachers and students of her for profit Aristotle University, did not attend the debate, hosted at Southwestern College and moderated by politics professor Phil Saenz.

Not saying it means anything but Gastelum has TDS Guns liked on his Facebook.
