Anyone know where i can has more info on these barrel markings?

Produced in Feb 1983?
Repaired in Sept 1996?

That online guide shows the markings going from left to right in a straight line.
It would make sense to me that the production month and year are the marks furthest to the right. Then, on repair, start the mark outside of that.

What I dont get is my markings. they are stacked one on top of the other. Its like it was repaired, and then they put the marking above, or under, the production date.

I emailed Remington, sent them the photo and the serial number.

This correct id on this is "DQ" meaning it was produced in Sept 1978.

I am super excited, I get her out of jail on Monday. Paid $400 for a very nice blued shotty and glossy stocks.

I really feel like these older shotguns are under-valued.

Will post pics when i have her in my hand!

Love my 1956 Wingmaster. I hunt with it a lot. It's a reliable gun and looks great too. Congrats on yours.
