Default can primers go bad

I have some Winchester large pistol, CCI small pistol, CCI large pistol, CCI small rifle primers. They are all about 15-20 years old. Could they still be good?

If they were stored in a cool dry place they should be good. I've used primers stored that long and still have about 4k more Sm pistol/Sm Rifle left from back then that I plan on using.

They should be OK, they shouldn't go bad without some help.

Primers will last a very long time. I've used primers that were at least 30 years old (thousands of 'em) and not one was bad. Go ahead and use them.

I have some I bought in the 1980s that still work fine. Try a couple and see.
