So I am interested in a purchasing an SP-01 Tactical but I am having trouble finding someone to do an SSE for me. Can anyone steer me in the right direction in SoCal? I'm in northern LA county. Thanks.

They're not on the Roster, and if they were they'd be backordered anyway. If you are prepared to do a single shot exemption, i know of two tacticals in stock near me (I'm in WA but these places would most likely ship to your ffl) and one P01... And a 75b.
Btw this is totally NOT the thread (or forum) for discussion like this and like a few posts up. There are threads in "CA Handguns" on the topic of finding cz's...

Here are all my champions. Just picked up my SP-01 and changed out the hammer spring to the cgw's HS-13000. Got the Hogue g10 d-mascus piranah in od green but the grip to the frame holes were off.

These: http://www.hoguestore.com/index.php?...oducts_id=7278 (that's part number 75138, not part 75128, which is for the TZ or EAA frame) I got the same Hogue grips but in black/gray and chainlink pattern, and they fit my 75 frames perfectly. A bit better than the VZ Grips ones I had.

Thank-you!
Which do i like more? I haven't shot the CZ yet but from my impressions thus far... The Sig P226 is the better gun overall, as far as quality, fit & finish, goes. Not to say the CZ isn't excellent, but there is a difference, and the Sig is top notch. The CZ is a great gun, but the trigger is not as nice as the Sig, and it doesn't seem as nicely finished overall. Basically, the P226 is a slightly better gun, the CZ is a better value. |

If better for you means finish and removing machining marks from the inside where you can't see them, then the Sig is indeed a better gun. The CZ is not as refined when it leaves the factory, so you'll find that at close to the 1000 round mark the trigger smooths out and is as good or better than the Sig. The factory just doesn't go as far in the final smoothing out of parts, as it's truly a combat gun. If better for you means reliable, accurate, and ergonomic, i have to give it to the Czech gun. If you want a refined CZ out of the box, you have to get a target/competition one like a Shadow, not a combat one...
