Default Looking for another Scope

Hi Scott,

Looking to get another Optic.

I purchased the IOR valdata 3-18 FFP GEN4 "Hide Addition" in MRAD from you 2-3 years ago.

Would you recommend getting another IOR 3-18 FFP Hide or the Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5-21x50 G2DMR FFP ?

Getting back into long range shooting 800 yards plus .308

Thanks much.

The HDMR has been hugely successful for us, it's a lot of scope for the money. Lot's of reticle travel too (120moa+) and a very popular reticle (G2DMR).

If you go IOR, you will find the 3.5-18x50 to be a much better scope than your Gen 4 3-18x42. Better eye relief, huge eyebox, easier mounting, less tunneling.

Thank you Scott for the quick response.

the IOR 3.5-18x50 looks to be an incredible scope but is out of my price range. I am budgeting between 1300 - 1600 for the new scope so that kind of puts the IOR 3.5X18X50 out of my price range.

I Really like the IOR 3x18x42 that I have but read so much positive things about the Bushnell I thought I would get your opinion between the 2 scope. They are similar in price and the power range but I am not sure about durability, glass, tracking etc... between the 2 scopes.

I now IOR is made in Romania but not sure where the Bushnell is made.

In your professional opinion, which one should I spend the money on ?

the Scope will be going on Rem 700P with 20 MOA base.

Both are popular and either would work. The Bushnell is made in Japan. Both track perfectly and have great track records of reliability.
