I have the GSG MP5 and would choose the GSG STG 44 today.
There's nothing wrong with my MP5, it's just that there are a lot of them out there. The STG 44 is far more rare and distinctive looking. It will get far more attention at the range for sure.
But the STG is a LOT heavier than the MP5 if that matters to you.
Buy both!!!
