Exclamation Sunday July 14th - 600yd Match - Sacramento Valley Shooting Center

Cost is $20 (and includes BBQ after the match)
Sign in 7:00-7:30 at the Pole Barn at Culbertson Cove on range 12 of Sacramento Valley Shooting Center in Ione, CA.
Safety Brief at 7:30, shooting starts at 8:00am sharp and the entrance to the range will be closed at 8:00.

This match entails 3 strings of 20 rounds for Record at 600 yards. Bring 66 to 76 rounds.
First string allows unlimited Sighters, 2nd & 3rd strings allow 2 Sighters.
This is a great match for newbs, the unlimited Sighters let you get on target and shooting 3 times at the same line means no moving your stuff around as you'll shoot from the same place each time.

None of the strings are shot back to back. You will pull targets or score for another shooter between strings.
New shooters will be given plenty of instruction beforehand and during the match.

Classes:
Iron sight/sling
F Open - anything up to .35 caliber, shot off a bench rest on the ground prone - no muzzle brakes)
F-T/R - .223 Remington and .308 Winchester only, shot with bipod/rear bag or with a sling - no muzzle brakes
F-Bench (same as F Open but shot from a bench for the physically impaired)
F-Tactical - anything up to .35 caliber, bolt or semi auto, detachable mags, muzzle brakes ok but must declare use of brake at sign in for squading purposes
Vintage rifles - old military rifles, with iron sights or modified with optics, any non machine front rest is ok

Per NRA rules this is a "slow fire" match. Whether you have a detachable mag or semi auto, only one (1) round can be in the rifle at a time (single loaded).

Get your butt up early next Sunday and join us. Got questions? post here or PM me.

ETA: yeah, this is a dup...didn't see Lane's thread before.
