After being a PC gamer for a long time (10 hrs a day of Everquest playing over a 56K modem was the norm in the late 90's) I was completely overwhelmed by Skyrim. It runs great on my newer PC (i7, 8G ram, ATI 5870) but the size and complexity of the game sort of overwhelmed me. It does not seem at all like a casual game, but rather requires a hard core commitment to really understand it.
