^^^They can, but rarely do.
Semi-Autos can be picky on magazine and ammo selection. Magazines get damaged. This is not a problem with revolvers.
When a Semi-Auto fails, it is usually correctable. When a revolver fails, you usually need a gunsmith.
Taurus is the only revolver that ever failed on me. Ruger, Colt, etc. are 100% reliable for me.
Speed Six in the nightstand, 1911 in the safe.
