Yes $1000 is kind of high but I would like to get help him get the best gear to do his job safely. Business for me is good right now and he deserves a kick *** gift! I know he will appreciate whatever I get him.
The last flashlight I gave him was a Streamlight Strion, but I guess he could use a bigger light. That SL 20 looks like a beast, the drop in charger looks handy.
A knife sounds like it might be a good idea, he used to always take mine when we were younger!
I've never really looked at an active shooters bag, a quick google search brings up a few good ideas.
