This course is designed to educate the student at the level of beginner and intermediate the fundamentals for success. Primary focus for this course is marksmanship and weapons manipulation skills. If you just purchased a rifle or are looking to revisit your fundamentals then this is the class for you. Knowing your weapon system is priority one. Get the foundational training you require from Falcon's knowledgeable instructors. You will come away from this class with the confidence & knowledge that you must have as a responsible gun owner.

Course Outline for Carbine Manipulation 1.0:

Location: Prado Olympic Shooting Park, Corona, CA
Duration: 1 Day (per course)
Time: 08:00 – 17:30 Hours
Lunch: 12:00 - 12:30
Operational Tempo: Low to Moderate
Prerequisites: None

  • Field stripping
  • Cleaning & lubrication
  • BZO "Zero"
  • Optic Setup
  • Mindset
  • Proper body mechanics
  • Proper placement of gear
  • Types of reloads
  • Trigger control
  • 3 Pillars to Marksmanship
  • Positional Shooting

Requirements to Attend Course:
  • Open mind and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow simple instructions
  • Demonstrate the 6 safety principals at all times
  • Students who exhibit unsafe behavior or fail to adhere to the Falcon Security range and safety regulations will be warned, and then removed from class if they continue the unsafe behavior. Students removed from class will NOT receive a tuition refund.

Equipment / Load Out:
  • Functional rifle chambered in 5.56x45, 5.45x39, 300 Blackout, 7.62x39, 7.62x51
  • 5 magazines minimum (7+ mags highly recommended)
  • 500 rounds of ammunition minimum (700 rounds recommended), no steel core when we shoot steel targets
  • Magazine pouches
  • Belt to support the holster & magazine pouches
  • Fifle sling
  • Eye protection (must be wrap-around style)
  • Hearing Protection
  • Cleaning kit & lubrication
  • Proper clothing suited for time of year & demographics (no shorts please)
  • Proper footwear (no sneakers, tennis shoes or sandals)
  • Hat (baseball style)
  • Sunscreen (weather depending)
  • Rain gear (weather depending)
  • Snivel gear / Cold (weather depending)
  • Knee / Elbow pads (optional)
  • Water (you must stay hydrated no matter what the weather)
  • Brown bag lunch or money to get fast food during lunch break.
  • Pen and paper for note taking

Course Fee = $150.00
Range Fee = $20.00 collected in cash morning of course
