However if the group can get declaration by government, then the picture changes ie: "environmentlists" can protect a rat or flower or a bug to the exclusion of we the people, if the species is endangered. Go figure.
All we can do at this point as individuals, talk with other shooters and
only appeal to their ........common sense. It aint easy gents.
The cleanup efforts are part of showing that we are responsible for our actions.
Take away the magnetic signs idea then and I'm a concerned shooter then educating the masses.

JUST BRAINSTORMING HERE AND SEEKING IDEAS/ADVICE... trying to come up with a way to prevent the need to clean this and other BLM areas across the state.

Why couldn't we set up a booth periodically at the entrance and just educate, as opposed to advise folks as they enter?

The BLM has already acknowledged Cal Guns via several awards/certificates for our efforts to clean many sites throughout Cali. BLM has also allowed us post/keep the sign at the entrance, so why couldn't we have a monthly booth/ez up manned by a few CGN members, errr concerned shooters? Plus many of us received "BLM Volunteer" pins today... so we are now official BLM Volunteers...??? LOL.
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed one.
