The two main questions in my opinion.

1. Where do you want the safety located?

2. Does the location of the shell elevator matter to you when loading the tube?

Both are great choices. Make sure the stock isn't too long. Better to have a 12" lop than a 14" lop.
I think Thor's hammer was an 45-70 lever action loaded with Garrett cartridges.

I find that 90% of the questions asked here have been answered 20 or more years ago by Jeff in hid Gargantuan Gunsite Gossip books.
