TO ME prepping is more of a beans, bullets and bandaids stored for when things don't go well while SR is more of a way of life. Over simplified but gets the spirit across.

A prepper would be more of the guy who would by a can of dried corn in a #10 can while SR would be more likely to grow the corn. yes I will agree there is some cross over and SR is soul of prepping but these days it has morphed into something way different.

And the survival thing is way different all together.

NO disrespect to PC for the hard work he put in to get this forum started (THANK YOU for that) just thought since the fundamentals were already laid, and it's not too hard, why not split them out. I could see more threads on who's planting what, chicken and other livestock issues, etc.

Thought I would float the idea to see what others thought
