Pretty much the salt content on all canned foods is extremely high. Even looking at canned corn and green beans, the sodium is often 20-35% of your daily intake. Granted the cans are usually multiple servings but it's something to be aware of. Draining the cans first does help. Not too sure about canned beef products since I don't eat them but I'm sure they are the same if not more than their veggie counterparts.
